Weird electrical problems with Saturn LW Series Wagon …. dash marks are dead now?
I have a 2002 Saturn LW200 station wagon. Around 2 weeks the car will not start at all and it was as if the battery is completely dead ….. no dashboard light or radio at all, not "deliver" noise, click when you try to start. One seemed to start to fix it. A week later, it happened again, this time jump start is not solved. Towing mechanic, said he was simply a cable was frayed and simple fix. It is now a week after the dials and suddenly none of my desk. Car starts and works very well, but gas gauge stays on empty, speedometer stays at zero (ironically, the cruise control still works), and temperature indicator is maintained at the left on "C". Digital odometer displays, but does not change the mileage and Subway can not reach the "journey". Do you think 2 are related? And if he does or not any idea of desktop problem?
It sounds like you may have a bad instrument cluster or control module bodywork (BCM). The BCM is programmed into the mileage at the factory (and at the dealership when and if it replaces) and is the form on the computer that "reads" set of tools to show what mileage, what level of fuel, at what speed, etc. Your ex electrical problem could have a "peak" of the BCM and caused to go wrong. Your best bet would be that the car looked good at the dealership or a mechanic with experience in Saturn vehicles. I hope this helps and good luck!
