Will it be possible to display images on most of the bands primary color RGB color / channels?
This question is for the fans IT with the knowledge of the additive and subtractive color theory and remote sensing. I've worked with several bands 4 and 5 Thematic Mapper 4 and 7 of the band image over 10 years in ERDAS Imagine 7.5 and ERDAS software. I understand that the multi band – images are based on filters that only allow a limited number of wavelengths be recorded in each band, as well as narrow as nanometers wide AVIRIS images. Why can not somehow be devised to allow more than 3 color channels simultaneously displayed by digital filtering and / or a combination?
I have knowledgeabout ERDAS or AVIRIS. But I am aware images, different color models. If I understand correctly, then you are saying, along with RGB, which is why 3 channels can not be another 4, 5 .. channels can be combined, along with RGB and do on the screen. I think Channel 4 is available as an alpha channel. This alpha channel is used to mix the present framework existing framework on the screen. Display devices (I have personally used NVIDIA hardware for this) are already available. If need arises then I think to add more channels should be possible. May be its just that this requirement has not yet become important.
